Spinebuster PRO's Bad Juju delivered one of the most maddening and compelling finishes in recent memory on Tuesday night, as Elvis Hunt and Gruff Veracity fought to a double count-out in the decisive third fall of their two-out-of-three falls match, leaving the Bayou crowd in a state of stunned disbelief and the question of who is the better man as wide open as it has ever been.

The first two falls were a masterclass in contrasting styles. Hunt took the opening fall with a clinical, composed performance, picking Veracity apart with precision and keeping the bigger man grounded. Veracity answered in the second fall with pure aggression, refusing to let Hunt dictate the pace and eventually grinding out the equaliser to send the match into a decisive third chapter. The crowd inside the Bayou was electric, fully invested in a rivalry that had been building for weeks and finally looked ready to produce a definitive answer.

It never came. The third fall spilled to the floor in its final minutes, both men trading shots around the ringside area with a ferocity that had the commentary desk on its feet. Neither man heard the referee's count, or neither man cared, and when the bell rang to signal the double count-out, the Bayou erupted in frustration as loud as any boo the promotion has ever heard. The match was officially ruled a draw, with each man holding one fall, and no winner declared.

The night did not end there. Later in the evening, cameras caught footage from the parking lot outside the Bayou showing Veracity ambushing Hunt as he made his way to his vehicle. The assault was brutal and sustained, Veracity apparently unable to process the lack of resolution and taking it out on Hunt in the most direct way available to him. Hunt was left down on the concrete as Veracity walked away, saying nothing. Veracity later told a backstage reporter, "I need to know. I have to know. And I will not stop until I do."

The rivalry between Elvis Hunt and Gruff Veracity has now produced three falls, two winners, and zero closure, and with no official ruling settling the question of superiority, Spinebuster PRO management will face pressure to sanction another meeting. Whether April Monday grants it, and under what stipulations, may well be the most pressing question heading into the next edition of Bad Juju.
