Sovereign responds to contraversy

R.V. Sovereign has broken his post-show silence following the disqualification finish in Adam Monday's match against The Mammoth — and predictably, he has no regrets and no apologies, and he has prepared a statement that runs considerably longer than the incident itself.

R.V. Sovereign has broken his post-show silence following the disqualification finish in Adam Monday's match against The Mammoth on Bad Juju episode one — and predictably, he has no regrets.

In a statement released through Spinebuster PRO's official channels on Saturday morning, Sovereign addressed the incident in full.

"What occurred on Friday evening was not interference. It was editorial. Adam Monday was handed a match against The Mammoth by his mother, in public, under pressure, to prove a point she did not have to prove if her son's credentials were as self-evident as she insists. I watched that match from the commentary position. I watched every second of it. And when the moment arrived where the narrative was about to be written in a way that served the Monday family's preferred version of events rather than the truth, I simply stepped in and acknowledged what was already true. The result was a disqualification. Adam Monday's record now shows a win. You are welcome, Adam."

Sovereign also addressed Black Panda's ringside involvement: "The masked gentleman made his feelings known. I respect the loyalty, if not the judgment. When he decides he would like a conversation about what happens next, he knows where to find me."

April Monday has not responded publicly. Bad Juju returns this Friday.
