Second-Wind Syndicate release statement post-Vox Null attack

Footage circulating online appears to show Ike Gritsenko and goldFISH waiting for Vox Null in the parking garage after Bad Juju episode two with a lead pipe. The Second-Wind Syndicate have now responded, and their explanation is going to require you to do some work.

The Second-Wind Syndicate — Ike Gritsenko and goldFISH — have released a joint statement following the circulation of parking garage footage showing what appears to be an ambush on Vox Null following Bad Juju episode two, and their characterisation of events is unlikely to satisfy anyone who has watched the footage.

The statement, attributed to both Gritsenko and goldFISH, reads in part: "What the footage shows is two professional wrestlers defending themselves and their professional reputations against a man who came into this building and conducted himself in a manner that was unsafe, unprofessional, and frankly dangerous. Vox Null physically removed goldFISH from the ring during our match. He struck a licensed competitor with a running kick to the head. He stood over Ike Gritsenko's body and used his phone as a prop. We responded. That is not an ambush. That is accountability."

The statement does not address the lead pipe visible in the footage.

goldFISH added a separate personal note at the bottom of the document: "I was scared. I would like that noted for the record. I was scared but I stood my ground. That is the winningest thing I have ever done. Also my hip still hurts from the ramp."

Vox Null has not commented. Vox Null does not comment. The text-to-speech voice on his phone was, however, heard by production staff as he left the building on Saturday: noted.

Spinebuster PRO management have confirmed no disciplinary action is currently being pursued. Bad Juju episode three is this Friday.
