Scarlett Vice breaks silence on Femina Imperium Gauntlet Match
Scarlett Vice has been named in the Femina Imperium title match at Sorry You're Not a Winner for what April Monday has strongly implied she did to Daisy Mae DuPris. Vice has now responded, and her version of events is going to make you work out who you believe.
Scarlett Vice has addressed the Femina Imperium Gauntlet controversy directly for the first time since being named as a participant in the title match at Sorry You're Not a Winner, and her account of what happened to Daisy Mae DuPris against that turnbuckle bracket does not align with April Monday's.
"April Monday told this building she was watching," Vice said in a video released Thursday. "She was watching. And she saw what she wanted to see, which is a story that gives her a reason to put Daisy Mae DuPris in a title match against Roxie Roche while also putting me in it so that I can be positioned as the obstacle. That is very neat booking. It is also not what happened. What happened in that Gauntlet is that Daisy Mae DuPris drew the last number, which is statistically the most advantageous position in a Gauntlet match, and still didn't win the championship. That is not interference. That is a result."
Vice paused.
"I am going to be the Femina Imperium Champion. I have been saying that since I arrived in this building. I said it to April Monday. I said it to Daisy. I said it to Roxie Roche's face in that ring last week and I want her to remember that look, because next Friday she is going to need to call on something deeper than momentum to hold onto what she has. Roxie Roche won the Gauntlet. I will win the match that matters."
Roxie Roche's response, delivered in the Bayou hallway on Thursday with the Femina Imperium Championship visibly on her shoulder: "She can come get it."
