Scarlett Vice addresses Daisy Mae DuPris comments
Scarlett Vice arrived uninvited into Daisy Mae DuPris's backstage interview on episode two, said several things directly to Daisy's face, and left. She has now broken her post-show silence and somehow managed to sound even more certain about everything.
Scarlett Vice has spoken for the first time since her uninvited appearance in Daisy Mae DuPris's backstage interview on Bad Juju episode two, and her account of what happened and why is as composed as everything else she does.
In a short video posted to Spinebuster PRO's social channels on Wednesday, Vice addressed the camera directly with the unhurried certainty of someone who has rehearsed nothing because she believes everything she is about to say.
"Daisy Mae DuPris is talented. I want to be clear about that because I am not in the business of dismissing people without reason. She is talented, she is likeable, and this building wants to believe in her, which is exactly what makes her dangerous to the credibility of whatever women's division gets built in this promotion. Because the moment you build a title around someone the crowd loves rather than someone who has earned it, you have built something that cannot hold weight. I said what I said in that corridor because it needed to be said. Not to Daisy. To anyone who is listening and making decisions."
DuPris, reached for comment, took a calm sip of sweet tea and said: "Bless her heart."
April Monday has not publicly confirmed whether a women's title is coming or when. Sources close to the situation suggest she has been watching the division closely since episode one.
