Bad Juju #5 erupts on YouTube
The go-home episode of Bad Juju delivered April Monday's most consequential night of announcements since the promotion launched, a tag tournament semifinal that confirmed THRØNEBREACH DISASTER as the real thing, and enough unfinished business to fill two hours next week with room to spare.
The go-home episode of Bad Juju before the Sorry You're Not a Winner special event delivered April Monday's most consequential single night of announcements since the promotion launched, alongside a tag tournament semifinal that has the Bayou talking heading into next week.
Monday addressed the Femina Imperium Gauntlet controversy directly from her office in the show's opening segment. She confirmed she was watching when Daisy Mae DuPris was opened up against the turnbuckle bracket before her Gauntlet entry, and she confirmed she knows where to look. Her response: Roxie Roche will defend the Femina Imperium Championship at Sorry You're Not a Winner in a three-way match against Daisy Mae DuPris and Scarlett Vice. Roche keeps the title she earned. DuPris gets the shot she was denied. Vice answers for what she did inside the ropes instead of from the stage.
Monday also confirmed the full Sorry You're Not a Winner card, including the Spinebuster PRO Heavyweight Championship fatal four-way between Kid Koala, Rey Manta, R.V. Sovereign, and Adam Monday. The announcement drew immediate commentary from Sovereign. Monday's response to that commentary was not recorded but is understood to have been brief.
The August Monday Memorial Tournament was announced. Named for April's father and the patriarch of the Monday wrestling family, the tournament is open to men on the active roster. The winner receives twenty-five thousand dollars and a future Heavyweight Championship opportunity. No bracket has been confirmed. The announcement has changed the temperature of every conversation currently happening in the Spinebuster PRO locker room.
In the main event, THRØNEBREACH DISASTER defeated Los Depredadores del Mar — Tiburón Coral and El Kraken — in the tag tournament's second semifinal to book their place in the final against Media Trial at Sorry You're Not a Winner. Williams and Alexander have now gone through the Blood Oath and Los Depredadores del Mar without a loss. The match was physical, with the full weight of Los Mares Mortales del Golfo's presence felt at ringside, but THRØNEBREACH held.
Scarlett Vice, Daisy Mae DuPris, and Roxie Roche all appeared in separate segments establishing the temperature of the Femina Imperium three-way. Vice remains composed. DuPris remains calm in a way that reads as more dangerous than anger. Roche, holding the championship, is looking at both of them with the focus of a woman who won the thing clean and intends to keep it that way.
Vox Null communicated ahead of his scheduled match against Gritsenko at Sorry You're Not a Winner via phone speaker, as is customary. Gritsenko responded by releasing updated statistics. None of them are verifiable.
Jet Vessil defeated Barry "The Blueprint" Brick in her Spinebuster PRO in-ring debut, announcing herself to the division with a performance that had Murphy on his feet at the commentary desk by the final bell.
Results:
Jet Vessil def. Barry "The Blueprint" Brick via pinfall
Scarlett Vice def. Roxie Roche via pinfall
THRØNEBREACH DISASTER def. Los Depredadores del Mar via pinfall — Tag Tournament Semifinal
