Bad Juju #2 Airs!

Episode two of Bad Juju delivered a brutal in-ring debut, a tag tournament opener that ended with two giants fighting in the car park, and Harry Balkin Jr. interrupting a championship presentation to deliver a lecture nobody asked for. Standard Friday night in Baton Rouge.

The second episode of Bad Juju raised the stakes across every active storyline while introducing two new names who immediately made their presence felt.

With April Monday joining Murphy and pain GRILLÉ at the commentary desk for the full broadcast, the Spinebuster PRO Tag Team Championship Tournament officially got underway. The Marsupials of Mayhem defeated The Haughty Troupe in the opening round, with Kid Koala pinning The Bullseye Kid for the second consecutive week via the Koala Killa Krusha. The match was chaotic, featuring a sustained standoff between Drop Bear and The Mammoth at ringside that required multiple officials to resolve. The stolen hoodie, now graffitied, remained with Koala throughout.

Vox Null made his in-ring debut against "The Winningest" Ike Gritsenko, and the result was not close. Vox Null dismantled Gritsenko systematically over twelve minutes before finishing with the Dead Air — a rear naked choke with body scissors — after the Dial Tone penalty kick had left Gritsenko unable to defend himself. Referee Roxy Malone stopped the contest. Gritsenko was attended to by the trainer afterward.

The Swamp Water Energy Championship was formally presented to Charlie Williams in a ring ceremony. The moment was interrupted by Harry Balkin Jr. and Media Trial, with Balkin publicly demanding a title shot on the grounds that Williams was "handed" the opportunity. April Monday responded by directing Balkin to focus on his tag tournament obligations. Williams told Balkin that if he had something to say about who earned what, Killian Black was still on the roster and available for comment.

In the tag tournament's second first-round match, Los Depredadores del Mar — Tiburón Coral and El Kraken — defeated local talent Barry "The Blueprint" Brick and "Sensational" Sean Sterling to advance.

Gruff Veracity appeared in a backstage interview with Jarvis Jolt ahead of his scheduled debut the following week against Elvis Hunt, delivering a measured and completely humourless assessment of what Hunt should expect.

Adam Monday and R.V. Sovereign had a tense backstage confrontation that ended without physical contact, largely due to the presence of security and the intervention of Black Panda, who issued a direct in-ring challenge to Sovereign. Sovereign declined, citing a preference for proper channels.

Results:

  • The Marsupials of Mayhem def. The Haughty Troupe via pinfall — Tag Tournament Round One

  • Vox Null def. Ike Gritsenko via referee stoppage — Dead Air

  • Los Depredadores del Mar def. Barry Brick and Sean Sterling via pinfall — Tag Tournament Round One
